Beginners off-road rider training
This foundation course is ideal for anyone wanting to get into off-road motorbike riding. The courses are conducted over six hours on Saturdays and will give you a thorough grounding in basic off-road motorcycle riding.
Course Outline
Designed for non-riders / novice and absolute beginners in off-road riding, our professional instructor team will guide each rider through relevant aspects to become a safe competant off-road motorcycle rider. Each rider will start with the basics, and then go as far as their skill, enthusiasm, knowledge and fitness! will take them.
What to expect
To get dirty! As well as this, your will gain a good understanding of riding a motorcycle and motorbike control, basic mechanics, an understanding of the safety implications of riding an off-road motorcycle and the skills for some of the more challenging aspects of this activity.
Who it's aimed at
Primarily aimed at people who have either never ridden a motorcycle or have very limited knowledge and experience of off-road motorcycle riding.
Equipment
90-one off-road education will supply bikes, boots, helmets, gloves, body armor, changing facilities and rest area. Because the course lasts for six hours, we recommend you bring a packed lunch, and plentry to drink. Alcohol is banned and energy drinks are not recommended.
Eligibility
We will always try to accommodate anyone who wishes to take part. You will need to be resonably fit and mobile however for those with disabilities, alternative machinery will be provided. No previous motorcycle riding experience is necessary.
The course is open to 12-15 years olds where the parent or legal guardian arrives with the participant and attends the initial briefing
AND for anyone with a driving licence (16+ years old). A minimum height restriction of 5 feet (1.5 metres) applies.

End result
Very dirty and big smiles. You will have gained a good understanding of how to ride an off-road motorcycle safely, but in a way that will challenge your skills (and fitness). You will make new fiends, and gain a great sense of achievement. Course places are limited to a maximum of six participants at a time, but will will be running the courses as often as we can to satisfy demand.
